Have you ever noticed that mode on your Tesla Model S or Model X called Jack Mode?
Or maybe you just want to change your flat tire and you could not figure out how to turn on or turn off Jack Mode?
Tesla Jack Mode is a mode that turns off the air suspension system so that you can jack up the car. If you do not turn on Jack Mode the car will automatically compensate for the rise of the car when you jack it up.
How To Turn On Jack Mode
In order to turn on Jack Mode on your Tesla Model S or Model X you need to do the following:
- Press Your Foot on the brake
- On the screen go to Driving > Suspension
- In the Suspension section click on Very High
- Next click on Jack to disable the air suspension
Note: The suspension is set on Very High to help give you space to remove the wheel.
How To Turn Off Jack Mode
The reverse should be done to turn off jack mode.
- Press Your Foot on the brake
- On the screen go to Driving > Suspension
- Click on Jack to disable the air suspension
- Set the height of the suspension you wish to have
