You might have heard about Tesla Joe Mode or maybe you have seen it on the screen and wondered what it is.
Tesla Joe Mode is not an option for Tesla owners to produce coffee in their Tesla vehicle. It’s an option to reduce the volume of chimes and sounds in the electric car.
The idea came about when a guy named Joe tweeted to Elon Musk that the sounds were too loud and were waking his kids. So, they wanted to minimize the disruption to anyone in the rear seats – that is to say, Joe’s kids! It was added to the new features that were released in software update version 10.0.
Tesla Joe Mode is a confusing name for just reducing the normal volume of chimes and other alerts. It is easy to enable or disable via your screen.
How To Enable Tesla Joe Mode
Tesla Joe Mode is easy to enable, just follow these steps:
- Tap the Controls
- Then tap Safety & Security
- Scroll down and tap Joe Mode
